CMDC

CMDC, or The Canadian Media Directors' Council, plays a proactive role in the media communications industry as advocates, leaders, and as advisors, to ensure a fair and progressive marketplace on behalf of their clients, agencies, and media partners. They operate as a collective voice on behalf of advertisers, leveraging their significant investment in advertising placement to counter-balance the contradiction of media ownership.

 

Every year, they hold a huge conference that brings local and global experts together to engage with marketing and communications professionals and other industry leaders.

 

In 2016, their 20/20 Conference theme was Speed of Culture. Using the event branding created by CMDC and Liberty & Co., I produced weekly email blasts, the conference slideshow, directional signs, a booklet, a 3D stage backdrop, podium covers, mirror decals, and various other event collateral. With both the clients' branding and my designs combined, the space at TIFF Bell Lightbox really came alive.
