Young People's Theatre

Young People's Theatre is a Canadian producer of theatre for youth and Toronto's oldest not-for-profit theatre company. For their 50th anniversary, I was tasked with branding their fundraising gala to be whimsical, like the spirit of The Wizard of Oz, while still remaining formal, as it was a black-tie event. The theme of Emerald City was chosen as it suited this very well.

Emeralds became a staple in the artwork produced. I also took inspiration from some of the more eccentric parts of the play like the winding yellow brick road to washroom signs featuring the Tin Man and Dorothy.
